Supplied with limited assets (mostly black-and-white images to represent films made in color), my solution was to apply bright accent colors and shapes to evoke a retro 1950s-60s aesthetic and a bouncy title treatment to play up the musical theme

I designed a graphic identity that incorporated the exhibition title and an abstract representation of the gallerist. The style and typography treatment referenced the era of William Faulkner's novel The Sound and the Fury as well as the medium of screen printing (exhibition was comprised of print editions by 10 artists)
